We can be as beautiful as they are. If we really wish for it.

日本文化美意識としての「わび、さび、かび」
わびは何かが欠けている状態を表すのに対して、さびは時間的に古びてくる変化を表しているよう。
かびは黴ではなく、華美ね。

as a Japanese culture aesthetic sense — “WABI, SABI, KABI” WABI expressing the state where something is missing. SABI expresses change which becomes old in time to rust. KABI is not mold and is gorgeous.
